One-hour Swedish

This stress-reduction and general relaxation massage involves techniques on feet, legs, hands, arms, face, neck, shoulders and back.

This massage involves the manipulation of soft-tissue structure to help alleviate pain, muscle spasm and stress.

This massage offers a wonderful way to relax, increase energy and relieve the discomforts of pregnancy. It can also help you prepare for the birthing process by increasing awareness of areas of tension, allowing you to practice proper relaxation techniques during the massage.

Deep Tissue

This massage is deep therapy used on one area to help release trigger points and constricted muscle and can help with the build-up of scar tissue.

Lymph Drainage

This relaxing treatment helps restore and increase the flow of lymph throughout your body. It is beneficial for inflammation, chronic pain, headaches, sprained joints and sinus and allergy problem.

This treatment is designed for your hands or feet.  Those skilled in reflexology believe points in our feet and hands correspond to other parts of our body.  Reflexology can be beneficial for many issues including headaches, sinus problems, PMS, indigestion and plantar fasciitis.

Kristin Parks, LMT, NCTM

Kristin is nationally certified in massage therapy and also certified through the state of Indiana licensing board. A Fort Wayne native, Kristin has worked for the Women’s Health Center since 2006. She is passionate about the positive effects of therapy on the body and mind and looks to create every massage session to meet your specific needs.

Melody Pastura, Licensed Esthetician

Melody is a licensed esthetician and has been giving facials for more than 20 years. She is especially interested in skin care and products. She offers anti-aging facials, acne facials, back facials, Swedish massages (relaxation massage), pregnancy massages, eye brow waxing and lip and chin waxing.

"Taking care of my skin has always been important to me, something my mom taught me at a very young age. My mom always took good care of her skin and passed that down to me. At 80 years old, her skin is still beautiful."

Emily Blackman, CMT

Emily's passion for massage therapy began when she took her first massage class nearly 20 years ago. Since then, she has continued to hone her skills and talents through continuing education classes and by teaching Rreflexology, which is one of her specialties. She also specialties in lymph drainage therapy, hot stone massage and oncology massage. She is also trained in Swedish/relaxation, therapeutic/deep tissue, prenatal massage, seated massage, aromatherapy and healing touch.

Julie Fike

In 1998, Julie graduated from the Alexandria School of Scientific Therapeutics, where she received an additional certification in Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapy. Alexandria is one of two schools in the country that provides this training. In addition, she received training in deep tissue massage and oncology massage. After managing her private massage therapy practice after graduation, she continually acquired skills to benefit her clients. She gained a deeper understanding of movement after earning her Peak Pilates instructor certificate.

It is her passion and desire to help others that directed her to specialize in unique areas and become a member of the massage therapy community. She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
