PPG – OB/GYN is proud to have adopted the Centering Pregnancy group care model, providing our moms-to-be with a prenatal care program that includes one-on-one time with your physician as well as a group centered setting to promote a shared learning experience for yourself and other expecting moms.
The Centering Pregnancy group care model helps expecting moms be better prepared for the birth and care of their baby. In fact, according to centeringhealthcare.org, centering has proven results with 96-97 percent of women surveyed preferring to receive their prenatal care in a group setting. Mothers were 33 percent less likely to give birth to a preterm baby and higher breast feeding rates were also reported.
As you build the bond with your growing baby, Centering® offers you a chance to build a different kind of bond, with other mothers. Make the best of your prenatal care. Get the care and advice you seek as a pregnant woman from providers with experience, and women just like you, with experience too.
