Children’s Emergency Care

We know that little ones need special care. That’s why we offer the Children’s Emergency Care Center in the Parkview Regional Medical Center’s emergency department. The kid-friendly environment is designed to help children feel calm and comfortable in an emergency.

The Children’s Emergency Care Center opened in the fall of 2012, and Abby Massey, MD, is the region’s only physician board certified in both pediatrics and emergency medicine.

If you transport your child to the hospital, pull up to Entrance 14 and walk in the doors, then the process to assess your child will start.
