Support groups can help you or your loved ones cope with the emotional aspects of cancer by providing a safe place to share experiences and learn from others who are facing similar situations.
The free support groups listed below meet at the Parkview Comprehensive Cancer Center, 11141-11143 Parkview Plaza Drive (Entrance 4), on the Parkview Regional Medical Center campus in Fort Wayne.
Conquering Breast Cancer
This group, sponsored by Parkview and Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, is for anyone who has – or has ever had – breast cancer. Presentations by guest speakers cover a variety of inspirational and health-and-lifestyle-related topics.
Meeting time: third Tuesday of each month, 6:30 – 8: 30 p.m.

Prostate Cancer Networking Group
This group is sponsored by Parkview, Parkview Physicians Group – Urology and Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. It is open to patients with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Please note that this group meets at the Parkview Regional Medical Center, 11109 Parkview Plaza Drive, Entrance 1, Conference Room B.

This group is sponsored by Parkview, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. It is open to patients living with any of these blood-and-bone-marrow-related cancers.

This group is sponsored by Parkview and Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. It is open to all people who are living with lymphedema.

Look Good…Feel Better
This group is sponsored by Parkview and the American Cancer Society. It is open to women with cancer who are actively undergoing treatment. A reservation is required. The presentation is by a licensed cosmetologist who provides cosmetic advice and hands-on instruction on makeup, skin care, and suggestions for using wigs, turbans, and scarves.
