Chemical Dependency Treatment

Chemical dependency is not a weakness. It’s a disease that millions of Americans suffer from each year.

If you’re one of them, you’re not alone. You can seek treatment through our outpatient Chemical Dependency Treatment program.  With help, you can learn new ways to cope and regain the well-being you lost to alcohol and drugs.

Signs of chemical dependency may include
a combination of:

  • Extreme mood changes

  • Chronic anger

  • Problems with job performance or school

  • Strained marital and family relationships

  • Growing financial problems

Parkview Behavioral Health’s outpatient program
for chemical dependency consists of three phases
of treatment:

  • Education helps you understand what has led to the need for treatment.

  • Therapeutic intervention examines the impact of drug use on you – and others in your life– and helps you regain a sense of balance in life.

  • Aftercare offers continued support as you apply the tools of recovery to daily living.

Group meetings are scheduled three days a week, two to three hours a day. Educational materials are provided to help build self-awareness, self-esteem and interpersonal skills. Family members or significant others are strongly encouraged to be actively involved in the treatment process, because their support is crucial to success.
