Parkview Family Birthing Centers offers classes on childbirth, breastfeeding, parenting and more. This course consists of three two and one-half hour sessions for three consecutive weeks. Monday classes are held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Parkview Regional Medical Center conference rooms.
Preparation is key to having a confident, personally satisfying birth experience. To help you prepare for this life-changing event, Parkview offers a three-session prenatal education class.
It’s designed to assist you and your partner in exploring the physical, emotional and social aspects of birth. Each session includes prenatal information, group activities to promote learning and a demonstration of skills useful during labor and birth so you can better define your needs and wants. Partners are encouraged to attend.

• Relaxation and breathing techniques
• Pain management options
• Physical and emotional changes
