Parkview has transitioned select laboratory services to Labcorp. Patients are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance or call their preferred Labcorp location prior to visiting to inquire about current wait times. Book an appointment with Labcorp.

We are experiencing local inbound calling issues at our Bryan and Montpelier hospitals. This issue has been reported to Frontier, and their support teams are actively working on a resolution. While repairs are ongoing, please contact Parkview Bryan Hospital at (419) 446-3007 and Parkview Montpelier Hospital at (419) 446-3008.

Community Health Improvement

Our Commitment & Mission

The Parkview Health mission centers on one essential commitment:  improving the health of the communities we serve. As a not-for-profit organization, Parkview reinvests its resources into services and programs that directly impact the health and well-being of people of all ages.

The Community Health Improvement Program helps accomplish this mission. Parkview’s Community Health Improvement Program was established in 1998 as a means of giving something back to the communities we serve.

What is a community benefit

Community benefit describes Parkview programs or activities that provide treatment or promote health and healing as a response to identified community needs. Community benefit is also the term used as the basis of our tax-exempt, not-for-profit status.

A community benefit must respond to an identified community need and meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Improve access to healthcare services
  • Enhance health of the community
  • Advance medical or health knowledge
  • Relieve or reduce the burden of government or other community efforts

Community benefit activities may include:

  • Community health improvement services
  • Health professions education
  • Subsidized health services
  • Research
  • Cash and in-kind contributions
  • Community-building activities
  • Community benefit operations
