Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation listed as one of “50 Hospitals with Innovation Programs” by Becker’s Hospital Review

Becker's Hospital Review today released the 2016 edition of its list of 50 Hospitals with Innovation Programs, which included the Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation.

While some hospitals on this list have a specific center dedicated to innovation and others have an established arm with its own governing board, they all demonstrate a commitment to bettering healthcare by tackling the biggest challenges facing patient care and care delivery.

“In healthcare, innovation means improving the safety and quality of care for the patient,” said Michael Mirro, MD, chief academic research officer, Parkview Health. “At the Mirro Center, we work to equip healthcare providers with the tools, expertise and research they need to improve the level of care they deliver and ultimately save lives.”

The Becker's Hospital Review editorial team considered nominations and conducted editorial research to select the hospitals included on this list. The full list features individual profiles of all 50 hospitals and can be found here.
