Specialized wound/ostomy treatment is available from 9 a.m. to noon every Tuesday in a designated area of the Emergency Department. This dependable care, from an experienced wound care professional, often results in decreased healing time for patients with conditions such as diabetic ulcers, venous ulcers, arterial ulcers and ostomy-related skin problems. With an order from a family physician, patients can be treated in our Wound Care Clinic without having to travel out of the area.
