Parkview Whitley Hospital

Parkview Whitley Foundation

Parkview Whitley Hospital carries on a proud tradition of quality health care that dates back to 1951. From the beginning, charitable giving has been an important part of that success.

Today, this legacy of service to our patients, their families and friends continues through the Parkview Whitley Foundation. Generous gifts given to the hospital through the foundation are used for the continued improvement of Parkview Whitley Hospital equipment, services and training.

Events
Thank you for participating!

Parkview Whitley Foundation hosted its 21st annual golf outing on July 16, 2009 at Eagle Glen Golf Course. Proceeds from the event supported the purchase of digital mammography technology for Parkview Whitley Hospital.

This year, the golf event will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010. Mark your calendar and be sure to join us.

Giving opportunities
The Parkview Whitley Hospital Foundation accepts financial gifts that come in a variety of ways. They can be as cash or a gift document such as a charitable gift annuity, life insurance policy, will, or other planned gift. Feel free to contact the Foundation director to learn more about your giving options.

A memorial gift or tribute gift is a special way to honor someone in your life, to celebrate a birth, or to remember a loved one who is no longer with you. It’s a truly unique way to honor someone in your life and help your community.

The foundation accepts undesignated gifts that support areas of greatest need within the hospital. Individuals and businesses can also make gifts to specially designated areas, such as:

  • Family Birthing Center to provide programs for babies and mothers
  • Hospice which provides care and comfort for those at the end of life
  • Special Touch Fund which assists patients with non-medical emergencies during hospital visits
  • Medication Assistance Program to assist residents in obtaining necessary prescriptions.
