Volunteer Positions
As a Parkview Noble volunteer, you become an important part of the hospital and team. Your efforts will benefit the hospital, and the patients we serve, in countless ways. By volunteering, you can obtain personal satisfaction from contributing to the welfare of those in need. Every year, hundreds of volunteers find fulfillment, practical work experience and companionship at Parkview Noble Hospital.
Emergency Room Information Desk Volunteer:
Greet incoming patients and visitors, offer assistance to individuals in wheelchairs, and supply directions and other information.
Hours: Daily, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Gift Shop Volunteer:
Help serve customers, patiently and courteously, including helping them with purchases. Cash register experience is helpful.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed Sunday
Main Lobby Information Desk Volunteer:
Greet and direct patients, offer assistance to those in wheelchairs, assist staff and vendors, and escort patients to their destinations.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. , 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Outpatient Surgery Waiting Area Volunteer:
Greet incoming patients and visitors and provide concern, courtesy and comfort for those in the waiting area.
Hours: Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Nutritional Services Volunteers:
Volunteer cashiers are used in this area. Cash register experience is helpful, although training is provided.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 to 10 a.m.
Sunday through Saturday, 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Other Departmental Volunteers:
Volunteers also serve in the Pharmacy, Administration and Medical Records departments and with the Parkview Noble Foundation. Hours and duties vary within the department.
