The Emergency Department is staffed by board-certified physicians who specialize in adult and pediatric emergency medicine. These physicians are members of the Professional Emergency Physicians group, which serves all of the Parkview hospitals. Our emergency department nurses all have Trauma Nurse Course Certification (TNCC) and Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification (ENPC).
The facilities are designed to offer the medical teams everything they need to provide high quality care. There are 10 rooms, including triage, treatment, trauma, observation and OB/GYN rooms. The nurses’ station is strategically positioned to enable continuous observation of patients. Patient privacy is also a priority — each room is equipped with a glass door and curtains that may be drawn closed.
