Special Care Nursery
Although every parent wants to have a healthy baby, some infants are born prematurely or become ill after birth. In that event, the Parkview Huntington Hospital Special Care Nursery is well prepared to provide specialized care for your baby. If your physician decides further attention is needed, a state-of-the-art newborn intensive care unit at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Fort Wayne is available 24/7 with board-certified neonatologists.
Classes
Pregnancy is a time of growth, development and decision-making for the mother and family. The Family Birthing Center at Parkview Huntington Hospital offers prenatal classes, breastfeeding classes and sibling classes. For more information or to sign up for a class, call (260) 355-3640.

It’s My Baby Too! A Sibling Class

New babies are exciting. With your permission, a representative from our baby photo company will photograph your newborn before you leave the hospital. To capture the moment and remember this very special day, you may purchase your newborn’s photo from Portraits by Kim. With your permission, your pictures will be posted on www.kimberlysphotos.com, so friends and family members may see your new arrival.
