Parkview Hospital offers a full range of rehabilitation services for patients of all ages. Physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and other skilled professionals provide care that is individualized for each client. Our goal is to assist the client in reaching his or her rehabilitation potential in a timely manner and a pleasant atmosphere.
Parkview Rehab Outpatient Clinics provide rehabilitation care at three different locations in Fort Wayne, Ind. One adult clinic and the children’s clinic are located on the Parkview Hospital campus. In addition, through a partnership with the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne, Parkview has a second adult clinic inside the Parkview YMCA Family Activity Center. Together, these locations serve Allen County and surrounding areas.

Insurance benefits are determined and pre-certification is completed by an insurance specialist prior to the first appointment. The first appointment is generally scheduled within 48 hour or less. Post-operative patients are scheduled the following workday.

Treatment
There are a variety of treatment options with access to the Parkview YMCA facilities, including the pool, weight machines, indoor track and aerobic equipment. Physical therapy treatments focus on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise and patient education.

Parkview Pediatric Outpatient Rehab offers pediatric specialty rehabilitation to children from birth to 16 years of age who have any neurological or orthopaedic diagnosis. Particular specialties include treatment of autism spectrum and all developmental delays as well as ADHD. Other programs include:
