The Parkview Regional Medical Center Emergency Department is designed to provide you with unparalleled patient privacy and comfort when you need urgent or life-threatening medical care. Patients are treated by board-certified emergency physicians and staff and, when needed, have access to specialty services.
The emergency department’s unique design minimizes noise and distractions for you, your family members, as well as for the physicians and nurses providing your care. This design allows you and your visitors to enter and exit the exam rooms by a public hallway from the triage area. The emergency care team accesses the exam rooms from an internal hallway near the nursing station.
The emergency department at Parkview Regional Medical Center includes three private triage rooms, four trauma rooms and 13 critical care rooms. On the Clinical Decision Unit, caregivers initiate extensive diagnostic testing and treatment for individuals who need immediate care, but do not need admission to the hospital.
