Parkview's NICU participates in leading-edge research in conjunction with organizations such as the Vermont Oxford Network. This international group of 400 hospitals shares data and develops the best practices for the overall improvement of premature infant care. Through this study, Parkview has minimized complications that cause long-term lung disease, and experienced better health for its babies.
