Individuals who are dealing with certain orthopedic conditions can find assistance through support groups and classes that meet at the Parkview Ortho Hospital.
Support Groups
Northeast Indiana Amputee Support Group
Losing an arm or a leg is a life-changing experience that brings physical, emotional, social and financial challenges. The Northeast Indiana Amputee Support Group was created by a group of local amputees and Parkview therapists to offer support, tips, encouragement and fellowship to amputees and their family members and friends. Free educational presentations tailored to the needs of amputees are held throughout the year, along with plenty of social activities.

Classes are scheduled at the Parkview Ortho Hospital as interest warrants. Anyone who would like to participate may contact Abbee Strack at abbee.strack@parkview.com to indicate interest in the next class.
