On the ground floor, physicians and clinicians provide noninvasive procedures such as electrocardiograms and nuclear imaging.
Recovering heart patients can exercise at their own pace in a fully equipped rehabilitation facility, complete with programmable treadmills, stationary bikes, a walking track and other equipment – always monitored by trained Parkview Heart Institute professionals. In addition, facilities for health screenings and education programs are found here.
On the main floor, procedures such as coronary catheterizations and pacemaker insertions occur. The four catheterization suites are just steps away from the comfortable, private rooms.
Patients staying overnight will receive care in one of the suites on the Parkview Heart Institute’s second floor. This special care unit allows patients to recover under close nursing supervision in comfortable beds. Each room has a DVD-equipped flat-screen television. Wireless internet access is available throughout the Parkview Heart Institute. Sofas in the suites fold out into beds, allowing family members to stay overnight.
