The Parkview Comprehensive Cancer Center empowers cancer patients, their families, and the general public with knowledge through its cancer libraries.
The libraries offer books, journals, periodicals, pamphlets and videos that address specific cancers and cancer-related issues and treatments. The material also provides information on nutrition, psychosocial and coping skills, and alternative support therapies. Internet access is also available.
Although the libraries are lending libraries for reference and research, some brochures are offered free for patrons to keep. Oncology nurses are always available to answer questions.
