The Parkview Hospital Seniors Club is a source of health information to those age 55 or older who are facing new challenges in their healthcare. The Seniors Club, now in existence for more than 25 years, offers programs and activities to help keep its members active both mentally and physically.
Because of this mission, hundreds of Seniors Club members attend our monthly meetings to hear the latest in medical treatment from area physicians and healthcare professionals.

Educational Opportunities
- Medical Education Programs — Physicians and health experts provide monthly educational programs at the Regal Coldwater Theaters, 211 West Washington Center Road. Education and prevention is the focus of these programs, and there is always time for questions and answers.
- Learning in Retirement Series — Seminars offered throughout the year provide information, techniques and skills to enhance your daily activities. Popular topics have included improving memory skills, stretching and exercise, putting legal affairs in order, and balance classes.
Mental and Physical Fitness
- Fitness and Exercise Classes — Senior Stretchers, yoga, balance and other exercise programs are available to Seniors Club members at Parkview Health & Fitness and at Parkview Women's Health Center.
- Parkview Health & Fitness members receive two free body compositions per year, routine blood pressures and oxygen saturation assessments, three free workouts with a personal trainer and free group exercise classes. Instructors are certified by the American College of Sports Medicine, in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and correct use of the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). Members of the Parkview Seniors Club can join Parkview Health & Fitness with no enrollment fee ($50 savings).
- Parkview Women’s Health Center offers programs, massage and support groups for men and women. Seniors Club members can purchase a Women’s Health Center members for only $5.
- Golf — Arlington Park, Bridgewater, Brookwood, Cherry Hill, and Noble Hawk golf courses offer exclusive golf packages to Parkview Seniors Club members.
- Bowling — Georgetown Bowl and Crazy Pinz offer our members discounted prices, free shoe rental and coffee.
Discounts
- Parkview Cafeterias — A 25 percent discount is offered to Seniors Club members for all eligible food items anytime during normal cafeteria hours. The discount is good at all Parkview facilities. Free and/or valet parking is also available.
- Community Discounts — More than 70 local businesses offer discounts to our members, which are listed in a Discount Guide given to members.
- Movies — Newly released movies are shown one time each month at Regal Coldwater Theaters for $2 per person, in conjunction with the monthly educational program.
- Companion Lifeline — Discounts are available on all Companion Lifeline systems. Companion Lifeline provides emergency help at the push of a button. For more information, log on to www.companionlifeline.com.
Other Benefits of Membership
- Bi-monthly mailings — A bi-monthly newsletter keeps members informed about popular, physician-led medical education meetings, as well as the latest classes and programs being offered each month.
- Holiday, theme and birthday parties — All club members are invited to our monthly theme/birthday parties at Parkview Hospital’s cafeteria. Members enjoy specially prepared entrees at a discounted price, plus free cake and beverages. Gifts are given to those with birthdays, and entertainment is enjoyed by all.
- In December, a holiday party is held where members enjoy a luncheon, entertainment and many door prizes.

Membership
- Age Requirement — Members must be 55 years of age or older. A spouse under 55 may also join.
- Fees — The annual membership is $12 for new members. The membership extends from January 1 through December 31.
- Membership Card — The Seniors Club membership card must be presented to take advantage of club benefits.
