Parkview Regional Medical Center opened Saturday, March 17, 2012. As a part of this move, Parkview’s Pediatric Unit is now located on the third floor of the Parkview Women’s & Children’s Hospital and Parkview’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is now located on the second floor of Parkview Regional Medical Center.
Many medical services will continue to be provided at Parkview Hospital Randallia. If you are uncertain about the location of a service for an appointment or scheduled procedure, call the switchboard at (260) 266-1000 or Parkview Health Scheduling at (877) 225-5747 or (260) 373-8900. A phone representative will assist you. It is recommended that you call at least 24 hours before your intended arrival.
Family-Centered Care
Our goal is to help children feel comfortable while in the hospital. We involve the entire family — the people who play the most important role in a child's life. Parental participation in the child's care helps minimize the stress of a hospital visit. Parents can sleep overnight in the child's room, which helps young children feel more comfortable and secure.
We do our best to facilitate parent cooperation at al levels. We honor the racial, ethnic, cultural and socio-economic diversity of families.
Parkview offers programs to prepare children for the possibility of hospitalization. A hospital-focused informational program helps prepare preschool and kindergarten classes. We also offer a more detailed preadmission program designed for the child scheduled to be a patient at Parkview.
