Parkview North Hospital Volunteer Services adds other opportunities as new programs and positions are developed. We’ll continue to search for an assignment that's just right for you. Job training is provided. Please complete the volunteer application.
To be considered for a volunteer position, you must:
- Submit an application
- Provide proof of age (14 years or older)
- Provide one personal reference
- Interview
Be screened for TB (tuberculosis testing and reading required)
- Attend orientation

Job titles
Parkview North Hospital Emergency Room Volunteer
Description — Transport patients, provide directions and escort guests, light cleaning, running errands and stoking inventory.
Time slots — Tuesday-Friday, 4 p.m.-8 p.m.
Parkview North Hospital Guest Services Volunteer
Description — Greet, escort and direct guests and staff to service areas in the hospital. Excellent communication skills and friendly disposition are required.
Time slots — Monday-Friday, four-hour shifts, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Parkview North Hospital Medical/Surgical Volunteer
Description — Greet and direct guests to service areas, perform clerical duties and assists guests in the family lounge area.
Location — Building #2
Time slots — Friday, 4 p.m.- 8 p.m.
Parkview Orthopaedic Hospital Volunteer
Description — Transport patients, assemble patient information, light cleaning, stocking inventory and run errands between Parkview North Hospital Central Inventory Processing Department and Parkview Orthopaedic Hospital.
Time slots — Monday – Friday, four-hour shifts, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Parkview North Surgical Admissions Unit/Operating Room/Recovery Volunteer
Description — Answer phones, file documents, stock inventory, assemble information packets, clean patient rooms, transport patients and interact with families.
Time slots — Monday – Friday, four-shifts, between 8 a.m. and
8 p.m.
Parkview North Scrap booking Volunteer
Description – Assisting our family members with scrap books in the Neo-natal Care Unit.
Time slots – Tuesdays starting at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
