Fort Wayne, Ind. – Friday, July 15, 2011 — Parkview Hospital is providing health education opportunities at the annual Children’s Fest at IPFW.
Today’s activities included:
*A discussion about “Share the Road” and “Don’t Text & Drive messages with Parkview Trauma Services
*Parkview Health & Fitness demonstrated various exercises
*Parkview’s Pediatrics Department assisted kids with decorating cards for children who are hospitalized
*Hope for Animals, a local non-profit animal care clinic, shared animal safety messages
*Staff from the St. Joseph Township Fire Department taught children about weather and fire safety
*Fire Safety Smoke House
*Parkview’s Don’t Text & Drive vehicle
*Parkview Samaritan helicopter
