Calling all festival lovers! Once again, Parkview will participate in Children’s Fest, a two-day event for youngsters and their families in association with Three Rivers Festival. This year, Parkview Hospital’s Trauma Services will present the “Share the Road” and “Don’t Text & Drive” messages. Parkview Health & Fitness Center will demonstrate various exercises and Parkview’s Pediatric Department staff members will assist kids in decorating cards for children who are hospitalized.
In addition, Hope for Animals — a local non-profit animal care clinic — will participate within the Parkview booths to share animal safety messages. Staff from St. Joseph Township Fire Department will be on hand again this year to teach youngsters about weather and fire safety. And this year’s attractions include the Fire Safety Smoke House, “Don’t Text & Drive” car and Samaritan helicopter. Bring your family for a visit!
