Parkview Trauma Centers will hold a Don’t Text & Drive awareness day at Glenbrook Mall on Wednesday, Sept. 19. The local event complements a national awareness day led by AT&T, called “No Text on Board Pledge Day” to also be held on Sept. 19.
Parkview will have a booth in the food court area with the Don’t Text and Drive vehicle, a pledge board for people to sign and visitors will receive a free Don’t Text & Drive air freshener and wrist band. The event will last from 10am -5pm. Teens are encouraged to come get their photo as they sign the pledge board. The photos will then appear later on Parkview's Don't Text and Drive Facebook page. (83,000 people strong). There will be several Don't Text and Drive logo wear giveaways throughout the day.
In addition, visitors to Glenbrook Mall will notice a new series of Don’t Text & Drive advertisements located throughout the facility.
