Fort Wayne, Ind. – Tuesday, June 1, 2010 — Parkview Hospital’s Verified Level II Trauma Center will host a bike rodeo from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, June 12 at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Rd.
Children will be fitted for a free bicycle helmet. After receiving their helmets, participants will listen to a brief educational presentation and then complete a rodeo obstacle course where they can practice safe riding skills.
Registration will begin on Thursday. To register, contact Parkview Trauma Services at (260) 373-3511. Registration is limited to the first 100 individuals three years and older.
