Parkview Whitley Hospital has been awarded a VHA Leadership Award for Clinical Excellence by VHA Inc.
The award was presented yesterday at VHA’s 2012 Leadership Conference in Denver. The award honors Parkview Whitley for meeting or exceeding national performance standards for clinical care and improving the patient experience.
VHA presents awards annually to health care organizations that achieve top performance on the clinical core measures established and tracked by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and in the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Health Providers and Services (HCAHPS) survey that measures patient satisfaction at hospitals nationwide.
Parkview Whitley is one of 28 not-for-profit hospitals out of more than 1,350 VHA-member hospitals to receive a Leadership Award for Clinical Excellence.
