Fort Wayne, Ind. – Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011 — Parkview Hospital today announced it will have a Remembrance Tree on display in the main lobby of the hospital, 2200 Randallia Dr.
The public is invited to attend a Remembrance Tree event beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12. Members of the public and Parkview co-workers will have the opportunity to have ornaments personalized with the name of a deceased family member or friend. The ornaments will then be placed on the Remembrance Tree.
In addition, ornaments will be available in memory of fallen heroes from the armed forces and fire and police departments.
Refreshments, music and dancing will be part of the day’s events.
A dedication of the Remembrance Tree will be held at 12:45 p.m. The ceremony will be led by Rev. Ann Lantz, director of chaplaincy services, Parkview Hospital.
