Fort Wayne, Ind. – Thursday, June 9, 2011 — Parkview today announced a new book, The Art of Nursing – Nurturing Hope and Healing, has been written that highlights stories from Parkview nurses.
The book is intended to highlight the caring spirit of Parkview nurses, the nursing culture at Parkview and is used as a reference source for new nurses.
Parkview staff began work on the book in 2010 and completed the project in March. The book is available for $8 at the Parkview Hospital and Parkview North campus gift shops. Proceeds from the book sales will benefit training and education of nurses through the Parkview Foundation.
This is the second time a nursing book has been published by Parkview. The first book was produced in 2004.
