At Parkview Health, we are proud to be the major sponsor of Fort4Fitness for the past three years. Committed to improving the health of the community, Parkview is offering free body fat composition assessments, nutrition, exercise and other wellness information, as well as blood pressure screenings at the Fort4Fitness Health Fair on Friday, Sept. 24, from 2 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 25, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Parkview’s Home Health & Hospice will also be on site administering the season flu vaccine for only $25.
The two-day Health Festival, comprised of the Health Fair and Healthy Food Expo, is open to the general public. This event features local and national health and fitness organizations, along with many local restaurateurs showcasing the best in healthy cuisine.
On Saturday, Sept. 25, at 7:30 a.m., thousands of runners and walkers from 34 states, Great Britain and Canada will enjoy a scenic route that starts in front of the historic Baker Street Station in downtown Fort Wayne and concludes with an exciting finish at Parkview Field. The course will take racers through historic Fort Wayne neighborhoods and Foster Park and past landmark churches.
