Celiac disease affects 1 in 100 people, and gluten sensitivity is an issue for many more. Traditionally connected to digestive symptoms, gluten can lead to autoimmune disease, mood problems, osteoporosis and other health issues.
Members of the public are invited to attend a presentation on gluten by Jeffrey Gladd, MD, medical director, Parkview Center for Integrative Medicine. Based on his medical journal review and clinical experience, Dr. Gladd will discuss the connection between gluten and disease. He will also provide insight on how a gluten-free diet, along with other health-improvement measures, can transform the lives of people willing to embrace such changes.
Dr. Gladd’s presentation is FREE to the public. Seating at the co-op is limited.
