Fort Wayne, Ind. – Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009 — Parkview Health was recently recognized as being one of the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare magazine. Parkview was one of only four hospitals in Indiana to make the list.
The Modern Healthcare survey considered any health care-related employer with at least 25 employees. Employees at each organization were selected at random to participate in the survey. Inclusion in the top 100 list is based on favorable employee responses to questions regarding:

*Culture and communications
*Role satisfaction
*Work environment
*Relationship with supervisor
*Training and development
*Pay and benefits
*Overall satisfaction

Parkview has received several honors in 2009.
February: Parkview Health was named the recipient of the 2009 President’s Award from Professional Research Consultants, Inc. (PRC). Each year, PRC presents its top award to one organization or individual that has made an extraordinary contribution to healthcare over the past year.
May: Several Parkview Health facilities and physicians were recognized with 2009 PRC Excellence in Healthcare Awards. The awards are based on patients’ perception of care.
October: Parkview Hospital was recognized by the National Research Corporation (NRC) as a 2009/2010 Consumer Choice Award winner. The award identifies hospitals which healthcare consumers have chosen as having the highest quality and image.
