Parkinson's disease among featured topics at annual Stanley Wissman Neuroscience Symposium

The 2010 Parkview Stanley Wissman Neuroscience Symposium will focus on treatment of Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions on Thursday, Oct. 21. Deep brain stimulation and surgical approaches will be discussed, as will diagnosis of multiple sclerosis and management of epilepsy.

Speakers include physician specialists from the Neurosciences Institute of Central Dupage Hospital, Winfield, Ill.; Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, Phila., Pa.; Epilepsy Service and EEG Lab, University of Illinois; and NeuroSpine & Pain Center, Fort Wayne.

Fee for the program – presented by the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program, Parkview Hospital and the Fort Wayne Neurological Center – is $60. Continuing education credits are available.
