Healthcare professionals are invited to attend the Annual Brain Injury Symposium at the Fort Wayne Marriott
on November 11 to further their understanding of the unique challenges in dealing with traumatic brain injury.
The feature presentation by James Dozier, MD, of Fort Wayne Neurological Center, will focus on acute traumatic
brain injury in children and adults. Lance Trexler, PhD, HSPP, of the Brain Injury Association of Indiana and the
Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana, will present information on a statewide plan for a brain-injury-patient support system.
In addition, Parkview rehabilitation professionals will present a case study of treatment across the continuum of care.
