“Fort Wayne Cardiology and Parkview have had a strong relationship for many years – since the formation of our practice in 1980,” said Robert Godley, MD, Fort Wayne Cardiology. “Together, we have advanced heart care in the region. By joining Parkview Physicians’ Group, we’re forming a closer association with Parkview that will allow us to more efficiently provide patients with state-of-the-art, cutting edge care.”
The new arrangement will provide opportunities for more cost-effective quality care through the shared efficiencies of a larger practice.
“Parkview is excited to build on the 30-year relationship we have with Fort Wayne Cardiology,” said Mike Packnett, president and CEO, Parkview Health. “This is a great opportunity for physicians and Parkview Health to work together to enhance quality cardiovascular care throughout the entire region.”
PPG physicians are not limited to practicing at Parkview facilities. Operation under the new agreement is expected to begin January 1, 2010.
