Oral, head and neck cancers claim thousands of lives each year. If diagnosed early, these cancers can be more easily treated without significant complications, and the chances of survival greatly increase. Every adult should be tested because often, the signs and symptoms go unnoticed.
The Parkview Comprehensive Cancer Center is offering a free, five-minute screening exam that might just be a lifesaver.
Timothy Frey, DDS, MS, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates, PC, will perform the screening exams at the Parkview Specialty Clinic in the cancer center. Information on smoking cessation, nutrition and other health-related topics will also be provided. Convenient, free parking is available in the lot at Entrance 4.
The number of time slots is extremely limited. For more information, or to make a reservation, call (260) 266-9180. Reservations will be accepted until noon on September 29.
