Fort Wayne, Ind. – Thursday, June 9, 2011 — Fort Wayne TinCaps ticketholders who plan to attend the June 25 game at Parkview Field are invited to participate in a free skin cancer screening at the ballpark during the game.
Parkview Comprehensive Cancer Center will host the screening, which takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. in the TinCaps conference room, located near the Parkview booth.
Ticketholders should call the cancer center at (260) 266-9180 before June 20 to schedule a five-minute appointment for a free skin inspection.
During the June 25 game, individuals with appointments may visit the conference room at their assigned times to meet with a dermatology professional from Dermatology & Laser Surgery Associates. Only exposed skin on arms, lower legs, head and neck will be inspected for potential signs of skin cancer.
Time slots are limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Ticketholders age 18 and over are welcome
