Fort Wayne, Ind. – Tuesday, Sept.7, 2010 — Parkview Comprehensive Cancer Center will host a free community education program, “Colorectal Cancer: Are You or Your Family at Risk?” on Tuesday, Sept. 14. The event will be held at the Comprehensive Cancer Center on the Parkview North campus, entrance 4.

5:30-6 p.m. Tours of the cancer center
6-6:45 p.m. Presentation on heredity and colorectal cancer by Lisa Omo-Griffith, NP, Northeast Indiana Genetic Counseling Center
6:45-8 p.m. Panel discussion: Parkview clinical staff members will answer questions on nutrition, risk factors, prevention, research and patient advocacy.
Light snacks will be provided. Free EZ Detect™ home kits for colorectal cancer will also be available.
