Fort Wayne, Ind. – Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010 — Parkview Hospital today welcomed officials from the local Sons of the American Legion.
Sons of American Legion representatives visited with children and their families in Parkview’s Pediatrics Department. They presented gifts, which included books and plush retriever puppies, to children receiving medical care at Parkview.
“A special thank you to the Sons of the American Legion for their commitment to helping those in need in our community,” said Sue Ehinger, chief operating officer, Parkview Hospital. “This is a great way to brighten the spirits of our patients and their family members.”
Representatives from Parkview Hospital Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeastern Indiana also attended today’s event.
