Parkview Foundation's "Cookin' Men" event will be held Saturday, April 30th at 7:00pm. This year, 80 local men will turn into 'chefs' at the event - each preparing an appetizer, soup, salad, entrée, dessert or drink.
What is "Cookin' Men"? This is the 8th year for the annual event hosted by Parkview Foundation. All proceeds from the event benefit the mobile mammography program, a partnership between Francine's Friends, the Breast Diagnostic Center and Parkview Hospital.
Cookin' Men isn't your traditional Fort Wayne fundraiser. Imagine a cocktail hour or party with 1,000 of your friends. Not only is the company good, but the food is too. Even better - you know that your ticket is helping to provide a mammogram to a woman who wouldn't have otherwise been able to afford one.
